Meet the Senator

Thursday, April 22nd at 12:00 noon via Zoom. Meet our new NYS Senator, Ed Rath representing the 61st Senate District. The Chamber is proud to host our new senator in this zoom event.
Senator Rath will tell us about his plans to represent the 61st district and answer any questions we may have about Albany, the NYS budget, etc.

Senator Rath was elected to the New York State Senate in 2020. He proudly serves as Ranking Member on the New York State Elections and Local Government Committees.

Senator Rath was born and raised in Amherst and attended Williamsville public schools through 8th grade. He graduated from Nichols School of Buffalo and subsequently received his degree from Syracuse University, with a major in Political Science and a minor in History. In 2005, Ed completed the Executive MBA program at Canisius College - Magna Cum Laude

Senator Rath and his wife Amy have three daughters and make their home in Williamsville.
